Helen C. Ly, MD
Board Certified Neurologist
Dr. Helen Ly is a board-certified neurologist and certified medical acupuncturist in Memphis, TN. She is one of the founders of her neurology private practice, Integrative Health Associates, PLLC and transcranial magnetic stimulation clinic, Brain Body Balance. She has a special interest in non-invasive and minimal pharmacological strategies for treating neurological conditions and health maintenance. Dr. Ly offers a multidisciplinary approach in her practice with services including acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, and nutritional therapy. In addition to clinical medicine, Dr. Ly also actively participates in clinical research in Parkinson’s disease and cervical dystonia.
Dr. Ly obtained her bachelor of science degree from Vanderbilt University and attended medical school at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. After finishing a year of preliminary medicine at the University of California, Irvine, Dr. Ly completed her residency training in neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She then completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology before obtaining certification for medical acupuncture at the Academy of Pain Research in San Francisco, CA.
